Description
Everyone's story belongs in the archives
Join one of our #MobOnMondays sessions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander visitors. Our First Nations Strategy team can help you explore archival records, discover stories, connect with community, culture and history, or simply learn more about the archives in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Why #MobOnMondays?
Government records can contain personal or sensitive information about people and communities. It can also be difficult to know where information is held and how to access it. Our First Nations Strategy team will guide and support you as you navigate the collection.
Visit the Reading Room to search ArchivesSearch, access records and learn more about Queensland State Archives.
At this session, you can:
- explore records held by Queensland State Archives
- search ArchivesSearch and discover relevant records
- learn more about the archives and how to access records
- receive guidance and support from our First Nations Strategy team
- uncover stories about people, places and communities across Queensland.
Whether you're exploring community histories, interested in culture and language, looking for stories in the records, or visiting the archives for the first time, #MobOnMondays offers a welcoming and supportive space to explore Queensland's archival collections.
