Renewing
You must renew your registration before it expires.
We will send you a renewal notice 1 month before the expiry date. If your registration is expiring and you haven’t received the renewal form, please contact us and ask for a new one.
You must lodge your renewal before your registration expires. This must include fees of:
- $787.00 or 1 year or $2,361.00 for 3 years
- $39.45 for each person listed on your application form for a criminal history check.
You may only submit your form:
- in person
- by mail.
The normal processing time is 4–6 weeks. If we refuse your renewal application and you disagree with our decision, you have 28 days to appeal.
Continuing to work
You need to make sure that we receive your renewal form before your registration expires. If you do, you can keep working while we process your renewal.
During this time, you must be able to produce:
- your expired certificate
- a receipt from us for your renewal fee (please contact us to ask for one).
Restoring
You cannot restore your registration after it has expired. You will need to re-register.
