    Form 7 – Property Occupations Act 2014

    Give this form to a seller if you have a beneficial interest in the sale.

    Form 8 – Property Occupations Act 2014

    You must show this form to a buyer to disclose your interests, such as:

    • a relationship with any third party to whom you refer the buyer
    • any commission you get from that third party
    • any commission you pay to that third party
    • your interests in the property (if you’re a property developer).

    Penalties apply if you fail to disclose your interest.

    Fill out this form to apply for a property licence as an individual.

    Fees:

    • $1,425.90 for 1 year
    • $2,672.90 for 3 years
    • $165.90 to add another category to your new or existing licence
    • criminal history check fee of $39.20.

    Form 1-2 – Property Occupations Act 2014; Motor Dealers and Chattel Auctioneers Act 2014

    Fill out this form to apply for a property licence as a corporation.

    Fees:

    • $811.20 for 1 year
    • $1,462.90 for 3 years
    • no charge to add another category to your new or existing licence
    • criminal history check fee of $39.20 per person.
  • Application to appoint a substitute licensee (PDF, 233KB)

    Form 11 – Property Occupations Act 2014; Motor Dealers and Chattel Auctioneers Act 2014

    Fill out this form to apply to:

    • appoint a substitute licensee to work for more than 30 days
    • extend their period of appointment.

    Fees:

    Fill out this form to renew or restore your property licence.

    You can apply online or we will send it to you 4–6 weeks before your expiry date. Please contact us if you need a new copy.

    Fees – individuals:

    • $724.00 for 1 year (renewal)
    • $2,009.80 for 3 years (renewal)
    • $837.10 for 1 year (restoration)
    • $2,122.90 for 3 years (restoration)
    • criminal history check fee of $39.20.

    Fees – corporations:

    • $410.50 for 1 year (renewal)
    • $1,068.30 for 3 years (renewal)
    • $523.60 for 1 year (restoration)
    • $1,181.40 for 3 years (restoration)
    • criminal history check fee of $39.20 per person.
  • Application for renewal or restoration of a registration certificate

    Form 4

    Fill out this form to renew or restore your registration as a property salesperson.

    You can apply online or we will send it to you 4–6 weeks before your expiry date. Please contact us if you need a new copy.

    Fees:

    • $167.85 for 1 year (renewal)
    • $407.75 for 3 years (renewal)
    • $188.15 for 1 year (restoration)
    • $428.05 for 3 years (restoration)

Replacing a licence document

  • Applying to replace a licence

    You can apply online or contact us by writing a letter or email as soon as you notice that your licence is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.

    Fee: $42.95

Changing your licence conditions

  • Request that we change or remove licence conditions

    If you have a conditional licence, you may request that we change or remove conditions. You need to put this request in writing.

    There is no form to fill out. Please write a letter or email.

    Fee: $84.80

Deactivating or reactivating

  • Deactivation/reactivation request

    Contact us to deactivate or reactivate a licence. You need to put your request in writing.

    There is no form to fill out. Please write a letter or email.

    Fee: $84.80

    When reactivating a licence you may also be required to pay a pro-rata renewal fee depending on whether the licence has previously been renewed as inactive and also a criminal check fee of $39.20. You will be advised of the required fee to pay by our office when the application is made.

Applying for mutual recognition

    Form 1 – Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 1992; Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 2003

    Fill out this form if you have an interstate or New Zealand licence and you wish to apply for a Queensland licence.

    Fees:

    • $1,425.90 for 1 year
    • $2,672.90 for 3 years
    • $165.90 to add another category to your new or existing licence
    • criminal history check fee of $39.20 per person.

Requesting a licence extract

  • Request a licence extract

    You can request a licence extract online or you can contact us.

    The record will show:

    • the name of each person who holds the licence
    • their registered business name (if any) and place of business
    • the status of the licence—current, expired, refused, cancelled or suspended
    • their licence number and class.
