Removalists

You may decide to use a removalist. Shop around and read all their quotes carefully before deciding.

Look for details of:

• delivery dates (and whether these are guaranteed)
• insurance
• storage fees
• packing, loading and unloading fees.

Utilities

You will need to disconnect from your utilities at your old address and to connect to them at your new address. Contact your providers to organise this.

Your utilities may include:

• electricity
• gas
• water
• pay TV
• home phone
• internet.

Check with your utility supplier about any change of address fees. Make sure they know your new address so they can contact you.
