You need to complete training to become a JP, Cdec or JP (Qualified) in Queensland.
To become a JP (Qualified) you need to complete 11282NAT Course in Community Justice Services (Justice of the Peace [Qualified]).
Comprised of 2 units:
- NAT11282001 Perform non-bench judicial and minor bench duties
- NAT11281001 Witness or certify documents.
To become a Cdec you need to complete 11281NAT Course in Community Justice Services (Commissioner for Declarations).
Comprised of 1 unit:
- NAT11281001 Witness or certify documents.
