In 2020 the Land Restoration Fund (the Fund) will invest up to $100 million in carbon farming projects.

What happens next?

After the 2020 Investment Round closes, an independent panel of scientific and commercial experts will assess your application against the criteria outlined in the 2020 Investment Round 1 Guidelines (PDF, 1.5 MB) . The panel will select a portfolio of projects that best meet the Fund’s objectives.

Once the panel has made its final decision, the Fund will notify all applicants of the outcome in writing. If you are successful, you will be offered a commercial contract (PDF, 1.4 MB) to supply the Fund with Australian carbon credit units plus co-benefits.

If you are unsuccessful, the Fund will provide you with feedback about your application. Unsuccessful applicants cannot re-submit in this round but may re-apply for future rounds.
