Services

A place of welcome for all refugees and migrants in Toowoomba and the surrounding region. Free English classes are provided. Volunteers care for babies and young children whilst parents are learning English. Computer lessons are offered. Homework tutoring takes place as well as Cooking and Sewing classes, community meetings, education and advocacy. Members of the refugee and migrant community can drop into TRAMS for information, referral and assistance or make use of our computer bank to connect with friends and family overseas or search for a job. TRAMS also offers its Centre as a venue for migrant and refugee communities to hold meetings and events. The Centre also provides opportunities for volunteer social events and gatherings involving clients and volunteers celebrating together. We are committed to upholding the dignity of all people and we strive to treat every guest at TRAMS with respect and a willingness to understand.
