Queensland Writers Centre is the state's premier writing organisation. With a membership base of over 2,000, QWC is the leading provider of information, services and support for writers and writing in Queensland. QWC runs an extensive annual program of writing workshops, seminars, masterclasses and retreats, covering everything writers need to know about the art and business of writing. Membership with QWC includes subscription to Writing Queensland, a monthly magazine featuring articles on writing by top Australian authors, industry news, and lists of competitions and opportunities.
