- How to access a women's shelter This will open (www.dvconnect.org) Women's shelters (sometimes called 'refuges') provide safe and secure accommodation for women and children escaping domestic violence in their homes or community. Placement in a shelter can be arranged by contacting DVConnect Womensline on 1800 811 811.
- Emergency accommodation Access a list of organisations that can provide you with information about emergency accommodation if you are homeless, escaping violence, or need a meal, shower and clothing.
- Find a domestic and family violence support service These services provide assistance such as counselling and support to people affected by domestic and family violence, including children. Search for a support service near you.
- Housing advice and help for your situation This will open (www.housing.services.qld.gov.au) If you are experiencing domestic and family violence or homelessness, or are at risk of homelessness, find out who to call to get help.
