Darkness to Daylight

On average, in Australia 110 people die from Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) every year.

Darkness to Daylight (D2D) is a 110km event where each kilometre represents a life lost to DFV.

When you enter D2D you are:

  • making a stand
  • helping to drive community awareness and intervention
  • raising crucial funds to help prevent DFV.

This year, D2S will combine a virtual challenge and a smaller live event.

The virtual challenge: 1-30 May

Participants will complete the 110km on their own or as a team throughout May. Participants can log their distances online and share their journey on social media.

The live event: Tuesday 31 May

On Tuesday 31 May, everyone will come together at an exciting new location to complete the final 10km as one. The live event is optional and, as in previous years, there will be a shorter option of 3km.

Together we can bring the issues of DFV out of the darkness and into the daylight.
