You may need to submit additional information on your online nomination or with your statutory declaration when transferring a fine to another person or organisation.

Types of additional information

The type of information you are required to submit, depends on the reason you are requesting a transfer.

More information may be requested for validation purposes, such as the licence number or customer reference number (CRN), or date of birth.

You'll need to provide the Police report number.

You must also report the theft to Transport and Main Roads before submitting an online nomination or statutory declaration.

  • the date of sale or disposal
  • the time or sale or disposal (you'll need to attach supporting documentation if the sale or disposal date is the same as the offence date).

You'll need to provide the CRN and infringement notice number from the notice issued to the registered operator.
