You can sign up for our e-notice and e-reminder service to receive email notices and reminders for licensing, registration and vehicle services.

e-notices

When you sign up to receive your notices electronically, the following notices (if applicable) will be sent to you by email, instead of by postal mail:

Vehicle registration renewal notice1

Approximately 6 weeks prior to renewal

Approximately 4 weeks prior to renewal for 1-month registrations

Queensland regulated ship renewal notice Approximately 6 weeks prior to renewal
Trailer registration renewal notice1 Approximately 6 weeks prior to renewal
Overdue registration fees final notice2 Approximately 21 days after the expiry date of the registration
Vehicle registration certificate3 Within 2 business days of request
Trailer registration certificate3 Within 2 business days of request
Vessel registration certificate3 Within 2 business days of request
Conditional registration certificate3 Within 2 business days of request

1 Does not include notices for vehicles requiring a certificate of inspection, vehicles that are on a common due date or seasonal registrations

2 Does not include boat or inspectable vehicle overdue notices

3 Does not include certificates that are ordinarily sent with registration labels. If you require a certificate immediately you can attend your nearest transport and motoring service centre.

e-reminders

When you opt in to receive reminders electronically, the following reminders (if applicable) will be sent to you by email:

Registration renewal The day registration is due to expire
Expired registration 7 days after registration expiry date
Certificate of inspection (COI) due 7 days prior to the COI or extension of time expiry date
Hazard perception test eligibility The day you become eligible
Driver licence renewal 3 days prior to licence expiry date
Industry authority approval4 5 When your industry authority application is approved
Industry authority renewal reminders4 3 days prior to authorisation expiry date
Demerit points enforcement notice 3 days prior to notice choice date
Infringement notice payment due 3 days prior to infringement due date
Driving test booking 5 days prior to booking date
Vehicle inspection booking 5 days prior to booking date
Card has been produced6 The day it is mailed
