This year marks the 20th anniversary of the JPs in the Community, an initiative of the Justices of the Peace Branch (JP Branch).
To celebrate the success of the program and acknowledge the vital role you, as a Justice of the Peace (JP) or Commissioner for Declarations (Cdec), perform in your local community, we invite you to join us on Wednesday 29 November 2023.
Officers from the JP Branch will be delivering 2 professional development workshops, open to all JPs and Cdecs.
11.00am–12.00pm Essential witnessing practices with a Q&A session.
12:30pm–1:30pm ‘Role models in the community’—a new soft-skills workshop from the JP Branch. This session will focus on providing practical advice and tips around assisting clients in challenging situations.
