Rocklands copper project
The EIS process for this project has now concluded.
Project summary
Cudeco Limited is the proponent for a new open-cut copper mine to be known as the "Rocklands Group Copper Project". The proponent submitted to the department an application to prepare a Voluntary Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) under Chapter 3 of the Environmental Protection Act 1994 (EP Act). The department approved the Voluntary EIS application on 13 November 2006.
The EIS assessment report was issued to the proponent on 27 July 2011, completing the EIS process under Chapter 3, Part 1 of the EP Act.
