Services

A peer support, education and advocacy service for young women under the age of 25 who are pregnant and parenting. Peer support, education and advocacy are an important part of assisting young women to maintain safe and healthy relationships and lifestyles. Early Childhood Program: Early childhood activities are offered at Caterpillar House through supported playgroups and alongside the young women's group work. The program is designed to support babies and toddlers in 4 main development areas: ? a strong child ? a skilful communicator ? a healthy child ? a competent learner. Family Support and referral pathways is currently offered to young women receiving antenatal care through the Young Mothers Partnership Program and through self-referral.
