The YWCA is a global network of women advancing peace, justice and human rights in more than 100 countries and representing a worldwide membership of 25 million women. a vibrant, proactive non-profit supporting Queenslanders in their journeys from surviving to thriving. Embedded in all our work are opportunities for women to develop as leaders in their communities, and agents of positive change. YWCAs undertake advocacy and deliver programs and services that develop the leadership and collective power of women and girls; support individuals, their families and communities at critical times; and promote gender equality and community strengthening.
