Provide opportunities for the development and advancement of women in the legal profession and seek to foster the growth of a corporate spirit among women in the legal profession. Mentoring and networking for women in the legal system. Membership of WLAQ Inc. is open to women who are jurists, practising professionals, legal academics, legal graduates and students of law WLAQ Inc. hosts events to facilitate professional and social interaction and is proud to administer the Annual Queensland Woman Lawyer, Regional Woman Lawyer and Emergent Woman Lawyer Awards, the Beryl Donkin Trust Prize, and the Una Prentice Graduate Award.
