Services

1800 4 WOMEN is for women, by women – it’s confidential, non-judgemental, and you don’t need a referral. You’ll talk to the same qualified counsellor or midwife, and you can choose appointment times that work for you. There’s no need to travel, and the service is completely free.

1800 4 Women can help you with non-crisis mental health support, grief and loss counselling following a miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death, midwifery support and advice, specialist domestic, family, and sexual violence counselling, referral services.

Women’s Health and Equality Queensland are leaders in women’s health, gender equity and the primary prevention of violence in Queensland. They provide counselling, therapeutic groups and health services for women and gender-diverse people with experiences of violence, as well as professional education, community programs and structural reform. WHEQ operates 1800 4 Women a free and confidential phone counselling line for women in Queensland.
