The Nalingu Centre (Anglicare) - Zillmere Women's support service

Services

The word ?Nalingu' means ?you and me'. The centre's logo, ?the possum', is one of our best-known animals and is closely associated with the Gungurri Tribe, originally from the Mitchell area in western Queensland. Today, Nalingu exists as a meeting place for people now living in Brisbane northern suburbs. The centre's facilities have been designed to meet the social, physical, cultural and spiritual needs of its people. Our qualified staff provide a range of services in both our centre and in client's homes to meet your needs. The centre also promotes indigenous cultural activities and social support. Our objectives are to support our people in the Brisbane north area through the ageing process to maintain their independence and enable them to remain at home longer by giving them a better quality of life.
