Second Chance Programme Fund Raising Group Inc (SCP) was set up to address the distressing and ever growing problem of women's homelessness. Promotes awareness of women experiencing homelessness and raises funds to support existing programs to provide direct assistance. Encourages groups and communities to fund raise for the Programme. Many women have been assisted through the "Bridge the Gap" program receiving support and housing through agencies across Brisbane. Funds raised are utilised in the "Bridge the Gap" program with accommodation fees shortfalls being paid so that the service provider is paid full amount and the woman has safe accommodation.
