SCOPE Clubs of Australia Inc Women's support service

SCOPE is an all Australian women's community service club. Any women over the age of 18 from all walks of life make up the membership. SCOPE stands for Service Community Involvement Opportunity Education. The club motto is "We Care." "Atellascope" is published monthly. Each year there is a National Conference, a Zone Conference and a Zone Meeting. Clubs have 2 meetings each month. One is a business meeting and the other is an educational programme with guest speakers. Since SCOPE formed in 1977 Australian Charities have benefited by donations through the Club's National Project. This is in addition to donations with local charities in the community. October is SCOPE month where each club presents a Quiet Achievers Award to a worthy recipient for outstanding voluntary service in the community.
