Services
Provides bereavement support to Queensland families who have been affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or child, from 20 weeks gestation to 6 years of age, regardless of the cause. Bereavement support is provided by professional counsellors and peer support volunteers and includes, bereavement counselling, workshops, support meetings and literature. We also promote and deliver education programs including the SIDS and Kids Safe Sleeping Campaign, training and education to health care professionals, emergency services and child care centres, Community Education Workshops and the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island Advisory Group (QATSIAG). All services are provided free of charge to the community.
