Queensland Government - Corrective Services - Victims Register Women's support service

Services

The Register works with the assistance of other parts of Corrective Services to inform registered victims of crime about important events in the sentences of those who have offended against them. It provides victims of violent or sexual offences with information about an offender's sentence, the correctional centre where they are being held, their security classification, release and eligibility dates, when they are transferred or discharged, the Probation and Parole office they will be reporting to and other events such as the death of the offender.
