The motto of PFLAG Brisbane is ?Keeping families together.? PFLAG is very proactive in promoting acceptance and understanding of people who disclose their sexual diversity to family and loved ones. PFLAG Brisbane offers: 24 hour helpline providing anonymous support; Referrals for extra support and assistance; Volunteers to individually meet with parents in crisis; Regular group meetings with guest speakers; Written resources to hasten understanding; Bi-monthly newsletter; This website (www.pflagbrisbane.org.au) Pflag aims to hasten understanding and acceptance in families, educate the mainstream society, advocate for equality. Nine regional location numbers available on website.
