Mudjimba Women's support service

Services

Provides crisis accommodation and support to women and children who are escaping domestic violence in the Aboriginal community of Cherbourg. Also provides information and referrals for legal, health, medical and support group. A safety house for women and children escaping domestic and family violence and also caters for homeless women for a period of three months enabling clients to seek appropriate accommodation. If there is a need clients are also referred to the drug and alcohol service in out community. Community health, child care agency, hospital and other relevant services are also available. Emergency support is available 24 hours.
