Services

IWSS is a specialist sexual assault and domestic violence service that provides direct service to women and their children from non English speaking backgrounds who have experienced or are experiencing sexual and/or domestic violence. Culturally sensitive support, information and referral; confidential and professional counselling; advocacy and support in negotiating systems e.g.. Legal, health related, housing; use of professional interpreters when required by the woman; bicultural-bilingual workers; telephone contact and support for women who live in remote and rural areas; women's group activities.
