Services
Gemfields is a Multi-purpose centre (under the auspice of the Gemfields Community Support Association Inc) that provides health and community services to the rural communities surrounding the central highland towns of Anakie, Saphhire, Rubyvale and Willows. As part of its services the centre receives funding from Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing and QLD Health to deliver Community Aged Care Packages (CACP), Home and Community Care (HACC) and Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). Community care is co-ordinated for frail older people and younger people with disabilities.
