Community Health Centre - Weipa Women's support service

Services

Community Health and Child health programs. The district facilities include Weipa Hospital, and Primary Health Care Centres located at Aurukun, Kowanyana, Pormpuraaw, Lockhart River, Napranum, Coen and Mapoon. The staff in these centres work in partnership with community persons to provide educationally focused health promotion, illness prevention, clinical, emergency and outstation services as well as rehabilitation. The district also has a Child and Family Health Nurse and Mobile Women's Health Team based in Weipa and a Youth Suicide and Prevention Program.
