Community Health Centre - Ayr Women's support service

Services

Provides the following services: Indigenous Health - an Aboriginal health worker provides health education and promotion and liaises between the Aboriginal community and the health services. Counselling services, a registered nurse and social worker provide counselling for the community. Child Health including baby clinics and Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), assessment and referral for children from 0 - 18 years and breast feeding support. Integrated Mental Health Service provides mental health services to the Ayr community and an outreach service is provided to the Bowen and Collinsville communities on a weekly basis. Visiting Services: Aged Care Assessment Team; Sexual Health; Hearing Team; Nutrition Unit; Health Promotion; Women's Health Nurse.
