Children by Choice is an independent Queensland-based non-profit organisation, committed to providing unbiased counselling, information, and education on all pregnancy options – abortion, adoption, kinship and alternative care and parenting. They provide Queensland-wide telephone counselling and a Brisbane-based face-to-face counselling service, as well as information, links to other services, and education opportunities on all pregnancy options to women and pregnant people, their partners and support people. The counsellors are professionally trained and provide referrals relevant to chosen options. They also offer a range of education and training services designed for secondary school students, tertiary students and health or allied health professionals. There is no on-site parking, but parking is readily available in nearby side streets and Toowong Village, as well as several public transport options.
