Anglicare - TRACC Women's support service

Services

Foster and Kinship Care is provided to a child or young person in a carer's home. Children and young people requiring foster care may be aged from birth to eighteen years and are unable stay in their family home because they have been harmed or are at risk of harm, and their parents are unable to care for them adequately. Children may be in care for a short time, or may be in care until they turn eighteen. Foster care is available to given children in care for as long as they need it. Anglicare Foster and Kinship Care and Specialist Foster Care programs provide children and young people with the opportunity to live in a safe nurturing family environment. Anglicare is actively involved in the recruitment and assessment of quality foster carers and provides ongoing advocacy, support, supervision and facilitation of learning for our dedicated team of foster carers across Southern Queensland.
