TMR drives the way to smarter roads at Ekka

Make your way to the Ekka and discover how TMR is gearing up for advanced vehicle technologies on our roads.

This year marks the 140th anniversary of the Royal Queensland show and TMR will once again be part of this iconic Queensland event, hosting a display in the Queensland Government’s Advance Queensland precinct from Friday 11 August.

We’ll be showcasing how we are preparing for advanced vehicle technologies on Queensland roads – more specifically, the Cooperative and Automated Vehicle Initiative (CAVI).

TMR’s Ekka display will be an opportunity for Queenslanders to find out about the CAVI project and prepare for when these new technologies are on our roads.

There will also be plenty of kid-friendly activities – building cardboard CAVI cars and drawing what the cars of the future will look like on LED chalkboards.

As always, our friendly staff will be on hand to assist with licensing, registration and public transport questions.

So whatever your motivation to visit the Ekka – a strawberry sundae, showbags, Sideshow Alley or the amazing fireworks – make sure you visit our display located upstairs on level 2 of the Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) in the Entertainment and Fashion precinct between 9am and 6pm daily.

The Ekka (Royal Queensland Show) runs from Friday 11 August until Sunday 20 August. See you there!
