For state level organisations

  • The State Development Program provides up to $300,000 in funding to Queensland based state level sport and active recreation organisations. The program aims to support a robust, innovative sport and recreation sector to deliver state-wide initiatives, services and events to maximise participation and governance in sport and active recreation.
  • The Get Playing Plus program is available for eligible councils and not-for-profit sport or recreation organisations, with up to $1,500,000 to help improve your infrastructure.
  • The Get Planning Spaces program (formerly the Sport and Recreation Planning Program) provides up to $100,000 for state level sport and recreation organisations, councils and other relevant peak organisations to develop quality sport and recreation infrastructure plans.

For councils

  • The Get Out, Get Active program provides funding for projects that will deliver community-based sport and active recreation activities that increase opportunities for participation by women and girls who are either currently inactive, or would otherwise benefit from further participation.
  • The Get Playing Plus program is available for eligible councils and not-for-profit sport or recreation organisations, with up to $1,500,000 to help improve your infrastructure.
  • The Get Planning Spaces program (formerly the Sport and Recreation Planning Program) provides up to $100,000 for state level sport and recreation organisations, councils and other relevant peak organisations to develop quality sport and recreation infrastructure plans.
  • The Queensland Footy Facilities Fund is available for eligible QRL clubs or councils providing facilities for QRL clubs to improve the quality, access and condition of identified community rugby league facilities across Queensland.
