Round 6 opens from 19 June 2017.

About Get Going Clubs

Get Going Clubs provides funding to support not-for-profit local sport and recreation organisations to create and provide access to participation opportunities for Queenslanders.

Eligible not-for-profit sport and active recreation organisations can apply for funding of up to $7,500 (GST exclusive).

Organisations approved Get Going Clubs Round 5 funding in 2016 (project delivery period of 1 January 2017 – 31 December 2017) are NOT eligible for Round 6, Get Going Clubs unless the applicant is a multisport and regional organisation.  Multisport and regional organisations can apply each round, providing the project is for a different sport/recreation activity, purpose, location or affiliated club to the project approved in the previous round.

Organisations with projects in a disaster declared Local Government Area for Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and associated rainfall and flooding events as per the Fact Sheet (PDF, 219KB) are exempt from this requirement and are eligible to apply.

Applications are submitted online.
