The Valuing Volunteers in Sport and Recreation Awards recognises our unsung heroes, such as canteen helpers, referees, grounds people and many more volunteers across the state who give up their time throughout the year.

Follow the steps below to plan and run your next volunteer awards events.

Step 1: Plan your event

Develop a project plan for the event.

Step 2: Coordinate your event

Advise your members about the awards and request nominations.

Invite attendees to the event.

Develop materials that will assist you during the event.
