QLD Digital Identity login - Privacy Statement

The QLD Digital Identity login (the System) is hosted by the Queensland Government through the Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy (the Department).

When you access a Queensland Government online service requiring authentication, the Department may need to disclose your personal information as provided by your chosen and accessed Identity and Information Provider, to the respective Queensland Government Agency to enable the delivery of your requested online service.

Personal information, provided by your chosen Identity and Information provider, includes your name, email address, date of birth and ABN (If a Business).

This will allow you to:

  • access a personalised online service.

Unless authorised or required by law, and except as stated in this privacy notice, your personal information will not be given to any other third party without your consent.

The privacy statement for the System (above) sets out to whom your personal information will be disclosed to under the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). Separate privacy statements may apply to other Agencies and the Identity and Information Providers that can be accessed by using the System.

No personal information is stored by the System; however, the following audit information will be stored to allow you to view your login history:

  • records of activity in relation to your usage of the System, such as account logins used, and Agency services accessed.

Your personal information may be transferred to an entity outside Australia in line with the provisions of section 33 of the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld). The Department will obtain your consent to disclose your personal information and identify the purpose for that disclosure.
