Investment in legal assistance services 2017–20

The Queensland Government has allocated $61.508 million of Queensland and Commonwealth funding over 2017–20 to community organisations to provide free or low-cost legal services to vulnerable and disadvantaged Queenslanders. This includes:

  • $35.272 million in Queensland funding
  • $26.236 million in Commonwealth funding.

A breakdown of the 2017–20 service delivery investment to be provided to individual community organisations and for program coordination is set out below.
