Update your property licence details

If your details change, you must update your licence or registration. You must report any changes to us within 14 days. You may have to pay a fine if you don’t report your changes in time.

Individuals

Serious offences

You must contact us in writing about any serious offences. These offences are punishable by 3 or more years in prison and can disqualify you from holding a licence or registration.

You must notify us in writing about any convictions against:

  • yourself
  • your partners.

Other changes

Contact us in writing about any changes. Please include your name (as it appears on your licence) and your licence number.

Alternatively, you can use the following notification forms to update your details:

You must notify us if you:

  • have changed your name or business name
  • move to a new residential address
  • change or add a place of business
  • change your postal address
  • change any phone, fax number or email address
  • become an insolvent under administration.

If you have changed your name, we will need evidence of the change. You must provide us with the official document that registered the change. This will need to be an original or certified copy.

We will need to reprint your licence to show the new name. You will need to pay a fee of $45.45 for the replacement licence or $27.35 for the replacement registration certificate.

Companies

Serious offences

  • yourself
  • your partners
  • your office bearers.

You must also notify us if any of these people become an insolvent under administration.

Contact us in writing about any changes. Please include your name (as it appears on your licence) and your licence number.

Alternatively, you can use the following notification forms to update your details:

For a corporation or partnership, you also need to contact us in writing if you change:

  • your name or business name
  • your postal address
  • any place of business
  • your office bearers.

Major updates

If you change your Australian Company Number, you must apply for a new licence.

You need to contact us if an executive officer or partner becomes an insolvent under administration.
