Entering Queensland from another state or territory (interstate travel)
There are currently no domestic border restrictions for people entering Queensland from other States and Territories. You can enter Queensland from elsewhere in Australia without restrictions.
Restrictions may apply if you have been overseas in the last 7 days.
While in Queensland
While you are in Queensland, you must:
- monitor your health and get tested if you develop COVID-19 symptoms
- provide proof of vaccination to enter vulnerable high-risk settings (the Check In Qld app also allows you to link your vaccination certificate to the app)
- follow face mask requirements.
If you or someone in the same household has COVID-19
If you get COVID-19, isolate and follow the First steps if you have COVID-19.
If someone you live with or are staying with in Queensland gets COVID-19, follow the the steps for close contacts.
