Recovery and reconstruction works

The following resources have been prepared to provide guidance to people needing to carry out other recovery and reconstruction works in coastal areas and in tidal watercourses, as well as the process and requirements for emergency tidal works under section 166 of the Planning Act 2016. In addition, an information sheet has been prepared for heritage properties that may require minor or maintenance or other building works as part of disaster recovery.

Replacement documentation

The Department of Environment, Science and Innovation will replace, free of charge, documentation lost or damaged during natural disasters. This includes record books and movement advices under the Nature Conservation Regulations, as well as information on ownership, valuations and caveats for land. To request replacement documentation, contact the Queensland Government on 13 QGOV (13 74 68).
