The Queensland Government is focused on building the emerging carbon farming industry and upskilling service providers and landholders to participate in carbon farming.
We recognise that undertaking a new business venture can be challenging. That’s why the Queensland Government is linking landholders with tools and independent advisers to help develop carbon farming projects.
The support package includes:
- Find a professional financial, legal or project adviser
We recommend that landholders seek professional advice to decide if carbon farming is right for your business. Visit the QRIDA website, where you can seek advice from one of the approved advisers who can provide you with relevant advice about carbon farming on your land under the Land Restoration Fund.
- Online tools to help landowners gather the information they need about carbon farming
- Assurance that the advice you receive is consistent, quality and up to date within this emerging market and its opportunities.
