Grains and horticulture support programs
Across industry, and the Queensland and Australian governments, there are a number of programs and support tools that help producers adopt improved farming practices.
Best Management Practice program
The Hort360 program, delivered by Growcom, supports commercial horticulture growers by providing a 360 degree view of a farm’s business operations through a computer based risk assessment tool.
This assists in identifying risks and unnecessary farm expenses. It also provides a look at potential business opportunities.
Participants in Hort360 have the opportunity to access technical support, on-farm training, and professional networks.

The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries offers a range of extension services to support producers to adopt better business and farming practices.
