Quality digital service delivery for Queenslanders

  • The One-Stop Shop program has transitioned more than 400 government services to online channels resulting in 63% of customers now completing transactions online (an increase of 43% since 2013). In addition, received 62.9 million visits in 2016-17 (an increase of 770% since 2013).
  • During 2016-17, Smart Service Queensland handled over 3.8 million interactions through phone (13QGOV) and in-person services (Queensland Government Agent Program and Queensland Government Service Centres) with 97% of customers satisfied.
  • Queensland Health's Integrated electronic medical record project has been partially rolled out to 8 hospitals with 24 hospitals to be on board by mid-2020.
  • The Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services' Carepay project has improved payment of Foster and Kinship Allowances.
  • The Department of Education and Training has rolled out the QParents system a secure, online portal that provides parents of Queensland State School students with 24 hour access to their child's information.
  • Business Queensland upgrade of their website to better deliver information, advice, and access to relevant forms for small businesses across Queensland. The site is accessed by 4.5 million unique visitors per annum, representing over 400,000 small businesses. It is about providing the right information at the right time to the right people.
  • The Queensland Police Service's mobile services program is providing police officers with realtime access to essential information when responding to operational incidents and on patrols.

Delivering a more efficient public service

  • 1 William Street ICT is a new consolidated model for ICT services in government enabling users to be innovative, mobile and collaborative.
  • Finance System Futures is consolidating and upgrading core financial management solutions to optimise and enhance finance processing for the Department of Science, Information Technology and Innovation's customer agencies.
  • The Department of Transport and Main Roads' Productivity and Collaboration initiative has provided the department with up-to-date technology solutions that offer improved collaboration capabilities.
  • The Government Wireless Network enables public safety agencies to share information instantly and securely in the coordination of effective emergency responses and support across South East Queensland.
