If you are not able to complete the border pass form online, upon arrival at the border, please present to an Emergency Officer and manually complete a Queensland Border Declaration Pass.
NOTE: A pass does not guarantee entry into Queensland as this is determined by an Emergency Officer at the border checkpoint in accordance with the current published public health directions of the Chief Health Officer.
- National and state security officers, police or health or emergency services workers responding to an emergency in Queensland (eg a paramedic driving an ambulance across the border to transport a patient with life threatening injuries) and maritime crew entering Queensland in accordance with the protocol for maritime crew are not required to complete the Queensland Border Declaration Pass.
- A New South Wales Border Zone Resident is permitted to travel outside the border zone in Queensland to perform construction work or if they are a member of an air crew entering in the course of their duties. For the purposes of shared parenting or shared contact, a New South Wales border Zone Resident is permitted to travel directly to their destination where the distance is such that an overnight stop in Queensland is not required.
