Pearl Duncan Teaching Scholarship
The Pearl Duncan Teaching Scholarships supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders while they study to become teachers.
The scholarship provides up to $20,000 over 4 years while undertaking an initial teacher education study program and the opportunity of a permanent teaching position at a Queensland state school following graduation.
You must work with the Department of Education for at least the same amount of time you received scholarship funding (i.e. if you received funding for 4 years you must work in a Queensland state school for 4 years).
