World Teachers’ Day

On 25 October 2019 we celebrate World Teachers' Day, where we recognise the contribution every teacher makes in creating opportunities for their students, empowering the minds of young people, and proudly teaching our state's future leaders, innovators, and influencers.

In schools across the state teachers will be recognised at assemblies, morning teas or events, or simply by parents and children taking the time to tell teachers what they mean to them.

This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and thank Queensland teachers for the important role they play across our state—inside our classrooms and out in the community.

There’s a wealth of wonderful words that can describe the difference teachers make in the lives of the children they teach. Which words would you choose?
