World Science Festival 2023

The World Science Festival is set to make a much-anticipated return to Brisbane from 19–27 March 2023.

The festival, which showcases the wonders of science and technology, has been held in Brisbane twice before and provides a platform for scientists, artists, and thinkers to engage the public in discussions about science and its impact on society.

This year’s festival will have something for everyone to enjoy, whether you’re a scientist, student, or just someone who loves learning.

Junior paleontologists should check out Erth’s Prehistoric Picnic show and learn about the amazing creatures that are remembered in the stories of our First Nations people.

If space exploration is more your thing, The Golden Age of Space Exploration will showcase leading global experts in the field as they discuss what the future holds as we seek life on other planets similar to our own.

Curiocity Brisbane also returns from 22 March to 2 April. A celebration of science, art, and tech, you can join guided tours, participate in hands-on workshops, or just take in the temporary outdoor and physical installations at your own leisure.

Cities across the state, including Toowoomba, Chinchilla, Townsville, and Gladstone, will also host events from May through to July 2023.

So mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and get ready for a week of excitement and discovery.
