World Science Festival 2017
The World Science Festival returned to Brisbane 22–26 March 2017, following in the footsteps of the hugely successful 2016 festival.
Hosted by the Queensland Museum, the jam-packed program focussed on four central themes of physics and space, oceans, energy and robotics.
Scientific luminaries from across the globe headlined performances, debates and scientific demonstrations, while innovators across the scientific spectrum shared their knowledge throughout a series of free and ticketed events.
The inaugural Brisbane festival in March 2016 was a great success, attracting more than 120,360 attendees and injecting $5.1 million into the Queensland economy.
