Celebrate cultural diversity this Harmony Day
On Tuesday 21 March we celebrate Harmony Day and Queenslanders across the state will be coming together to embrace cultural diversity and share what we have in common.
With the message ‘everyone belongs’, Harmony Day encourages all Australians to celebrate inclusiveness, participate in their community, respect cultural and religious diversity and foster a sense of belonging for everyone.
Orange has been chosen as the colour to represent Harmony Day, as traditionally orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.
