Disability Action Week: 26 Nov - 2 Dec 2022

During Disability Action Week we recognise the contributions people with disability make to our lives, families, workplaces, communities, and to Queensland’s economy.

In 2022 the focus is on the business benefits of a diverse workforce and highlighting the skills, talents, qualifications, and abilities people with disability bring to Queensland’s workforce.

Through sharing stories of success, helpful information on the value of diversity, and practical steps to find support and plan, we hope to:

• encourage more Queenslanders to consider what action they can take to build more inclusive and accessible workplaces, businesses, and communities
• encourage employers to seek support to put people with disability on their recruitment radar.

We also recognise the International Day of People with Disability on 3 December 2022, and the opportunities to get involved and challenge to grow a more inclusive Australia.
